Would you like to work with Education Now’s Independent School of the Year? Look no further, as we have a great opportunity for you…

R.E.A.L. Education is an innovative provision that provides a holistic and person centred alternative to mainstream education to children and young people aged 5 to 19 years old.

Our team of dedicated and experienced professionals work together in the R.E.A.L. way of innovation, trust and achievement to ensure that every child has a future. Not only do our Learners achieve nationally recognised qualifications but they are supported to make positive contributions to their communities and gain skills that will help them to thrive in adulthood.

Due to our recent successes, R.E.A.L. Education is growing and the need for our services grows with us. We are now recruiting Higher Level Teaching Assistants to compliment our provision by providing hands-on support to our Lead Teachers, Curriculum Leads and Learners across all of our R.E.A.L. sites.

We are looking for enthusiastic educators who are able to easily demonstrate and role model the positive values, attitudes and behaviours that we expect of our Learners and Staff.

Our successful HLTA candidates will need to have at least 3 years professional experience of working with Learners who have SEN considerations and hold at least a level 4 HLTA qualification. They will be expected to work flexibly and adapt sessions in a dynamic manner, to promote successful Learner outcomes with both 1:1 and group learners over a wide range of subjects.

In return for your innovation and trust in us and our Learners, we will provide you with a welcoming and nurturing working environment. We will provide you with a professional development pathway to enhance your existing skill set and give you access to a plethora of CPD opportunities.

Our total reward package for the role consists of;

  • 6 hours paid Continuous Professional Development time every year and unlimited personal time access.
  • 5 days paid Dependency days each academic year.
  • Flexible working options.
  • Westfield Health Cash Plan.
  • Bereavement Insurance.

If you support our vision and believe every child has a future and our values of Trust, Innovation and Achievement are something you believe in, then please contact us for a campaign pack and or to ask any questions regarding the role.

R.E.A.L. Education are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. Therefore all candidates will be subjected to Safer Recruitment checks and will not be able to commence employment without a satisfactory DBS and two references.
