Hours per week: 37 ( 4 days - 8.30am-4.30pm, 1 day - 8.30am-4pm) 

Working weeks: Term Time plus 1 day

Grade: 9

Salary: £24.059 - £26,410

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join us at All Saints Catholic College in a new role working in our STAR (Student Turnaround and Reintegration) Centre.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated HLTA to play a pivotal role in maintaining high levels of behaviour and student engagement within the school. This is a key part of our approach to improving educational attainment and inclusion and is one of our key priorities across the school.

Having the appropriate literacy and numeracy skills to support students, and prior experience, the successful candidate will plan and deliver personalised learning programmes with students within our STAR centre.

You will need to be able to work collaboratively and flexibly, building good relationships with both students and staff, supporting our Inclusion Team in the running of an efficient and effective personalised learning provision, also providing an effective administrative, pastoral, achievement and community liaison function.

Experience of supporting students with emotional and social needs would be an advantage.

All Saints is an 11-16 school, situated near the northern boundary of Kirklees.  We are a Catholic school with students attending from diverse cultural backgrounds, which contribute to the distinctive ethos.  In July 2017, Ofsted judged All Saints “Good” in every category and “Outstanding” in terms of our recent S48 inspection by the Diocese of Leeds in June 2018.
