Preston Park are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic Level 3 Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our expanding nursery unit and new 2 year old provision.

We are looking for creative and committed outstanding Level 3 Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our expanding nursery team and new 2 year old provision. The successful candidate will be the room lead for our expanding nursery.

We are looking for an individual who can share the founding vision and ethos for Preston Park, (please visit the school and look on the school’s website). Must be excited by the chance to contribute to Preston Park Primary and driven to do what it takes to succeed.
You must be experienced and highly skilled in numeracy and literacy, a team player with energy, stamina, lots of patience and lots of creativity and fresh ideas. You must also be skilled to effectively support children for whom English is a second language. The successful candidate must be able to evidence the ability to support nursery age children, through past experience. We are seeking an individual who has an NVQ level 3 for teaching assistants, or is able to demonstrate an equivalent level of attainment through relevant experience.

Salary: Scale 4 points 7-11 £19,554.00 - £21,166.00 plus London Weighting £1925.00 paid pro rata
Pro rata/Actual Salary: £16,586.00 - £17,830.00 including London Weighting
Hours: 32.5 hours, term time only

About Preston Park Primary School
Preston Park Primary School in Wembley, north-west London, is a mixed community school for children aged 3-11. The pupil roll is over 600. Preston Park Primary School is well resourced with rich indoor and outdoor learning environments comprising bright classrooms, spacious playgrounds, a school farm and a wildlife nature reserve.
The nursery at Preston Park has 60 part-time children. We also have a 2 year old provision on site.
