Queen Elizabeth’s Academy is looking to appoint a HLTA or experienced Teaching Assistant with the aspirations and confidence to take the next step in their career. This is an exciting opportunity for somebody with a good understanding of challenging behaviour and development strategies to make a real difference to our SEND pupils with a supportive staff team.
We are looking for a confident and resourceful individual to work within our pupil learning centre and nurture groups both at KS3 and KS4. You will liaise closely with the SENCO and SEND department to ensure that effective support is delivered. A full induction will be given to help you with your start and expected systems of work, with fantastic training opportunities available.
Job Title: Higher Level Teaching Assistant
Hours of work: 37 hours per week, term time only
Salary: Grade 5 -depending on experience & qualifications - actual salary £20,100 to £22,190
