Job overview

Greenfield is Bodmin College’s Area Resource Base (ARB) with 40 students, all of whom have an Education Health Care Plan (EHCP). We are seeking to appoint a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to work within Greenfield which is our specialist provision for students with multiple and complex special educational needs. 

As part of the team you will be engaged in collaborative work with colleagues, parents and with external agencies as well as being able to provide some bespoke provision on a 1:1/small group basis. You will have access to the College and Greenfield’s programme of professional development.  

The successful candidate will be required to plan, deliver, monitor and evaluate sequences of learning for PE and Geography. 

This exciting position will suit someone who enjoys working outside and alongside young people with special educational needs and disabilities. Although this is an opportunity for someone who can work independently, we are a strong team and we are looking for applicant’s who enjoy working in a close-knit and supportive team, with like-minded colleagues.

35 hours per week (39 working weeks per annum/44.263 paid weeks per annum)
