Higher Level Teaching Assistant Required for April 2017 onwards Permanent Contract   36 hour contract  (8.00 – 3.45   p.m + one day finishing at 5.00 p.m)     Salary – Pay Grade 6 (approx.. £22,677 - £27,378) paid on pro rata   terms   These   positions are best suited to candidates seeking to further their career   working with primary age children and possibly on a route to joining the   teaching profession. About Bird In Bush School

Located in The London Borough of Southwark, Bird in Bush School is a primary school for children aged 3-11. With around 500 pupils, it is significantly larger than the average school of its type. Bird In Bush Primary has a large and extremely diverse catchment area both culturally and economically, a fact reflected in its student intake. The school runs numerous additional activities and provision for students, including a breakfast club. The school received additional funding in order to run its PE and sports programmes.
