We are seeking to appoint an exceptional Higher Level Teaching Assistant for Early Years who is passionate about enabling the development and learning of our deserving students.
About the Academy

One of the newest in Oasis’ family of Academies, Oasis Academy Putney will open its doors to students in September 2016. Boasting a beautiful new purpose-built building with state-of-the-art facilities we plan to offer our young people a diverse and enriching curriculum. With this in mind we hope to recruit a Teaching Assistant with the passion and drive to fully immerse themselves in our lessons and child development.

As the HLTA you will lead and develop the work of other Teaching Assistants in supporting teaching and learning and ensure standards are high by making a strong contribution to pupils’ achievement. You will also be expected to provide support to pupils, teachers and the curriculum as well as contributing to embedding the Oasis Ethos into all aspects of the academy.

Salary Range: £25,620 - £28,845 (Inner London) per annum pro rata (SCP 25-29) Actual Salary: £21,787 - £24,529 per annum (Inner London)*
Hours: 35 per week 8:30-16:00, term time only (39 weeks per year)
*Pro rata salary may vary depending on length of continuous service

The successful candidate will:

  • Hold a Higher Level Teaching Assistant qualification or a willingness to achieve such qualification
  • Have knowledge of the National Curriculum requirements (EYFS)
  • Possess excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
  • Be committed to working in accordance with the Oasis ethos and vision.
