The Glasgow Academy is an ambitious, nurturing and high-achieving independent HMC co-educational day school of around 1470 pupils aged 3-18. It enjoys a fine reputation for its standards and is focused on continuous improvement. This post involves teaching History and Modern Studies in the Senior School to at least Higher level and playing a full part in the pastoral and rich co-curricular life of the school. The closing date is Monday 25 March 2019 and interviews are likely to take place on 23 and 26 April. Applications from probationers or those wishing to complete a probationary year are welcome.
