This is an exciting opportunity to work within a strong team of specialist, highly committed and enthusiastic teachers. Length of experience need not stop anyone applying for this post. History is a very successful and popular subject within the school, attracting consistently high student numbers at KS4. We are currently running 3 GCSE exam groups completing courses in 2020, with 3 year 9 GCSE groups completing their foundation year. Students follow Edexcel A Level History, A Level results were 100% A-C in 2019. The department is very well resourced. All staff at Whitefield School benefit from an excellent induction program as well as access to our extensive CPD opportunities.

Whitefield is a rapidly improving school. Our examination results continue to rise year on year. But we still have ambitious plans for the future.  The successful candidate will have access to Continuous Professional Development through our comprehensive internal and external CPD programme. The school also offers a range of benefits to all employees through our pro-active staff Well-being Team.
