KS4 & 5 history for the European Baccalaureate, with wonderful support from a multicultural staff and no experience necessary. Option to teach English at KS3 to increase hours. Other subjects could make a it a full-time role.

Europa School UK is a unique school offering a bilingual education for children from the age of 4. Our school has a collaborative approach and is supportive of our staff. While our innovative approach to education is challenging for the children, we enjoy a positive relationship with our parent body who enthusiastically help us in our pursuit of our multilingual and multicultural goals.

On one beautiful site, our pupils can follow our European curriculum from age 4 to 18, culminating in the highly respected European Baccalaureate.

The programme is well structured with a consistent academic standard. The Baccalaureate provides opportunity for deep study in some areas while preserving a rounded education through to the age of 18. With a strong reputation built over 60 years, it is highly respected by universities. Our students are ready for higher study and see it through with excellent results.

This is a fixed term position as our model changes to teach history in other languages.

• Fantastic children who have high aspirations

• CPD in UK and Europe available

Europa School UK is unique, it is a UK state school which offers a bilingual education from four to 18.

September 2017 saw ESUK open the Secondary School, the final stage of a phased opening which began in 2012 with key stage 1.  We offer a multilingual and multicultural education, with children taught in English and also either German, French or Spanish via full immersion. Europa School inherits from its predecessor a history of preparing students for outstanding success at universities in the UK, throughout Europe and beyond.

The primary has 3 form entry and is consistently oversubscribed. We are  an accredited IB World School and received a good rating from Ofsted.

IB World Schools share a common philosophy—a commitment to improve the teaching and learning of a diverse and inclusive community of students by delivering challenging, high quality programmes of international education that share a powerful vision.

The school is committed to offering a broad curriculum up to the age of 18/19 for all our students with compulsory study of English, mathematics, science, languages and humanities.

The centrepiece of the Secondary School is the beautiful grade-II listed buildings of Culham College which hosted a European School from 1978 to 2017. The school is set in rural Oxfordshire but near Oxford and Abingdon. Europa has recently undergone a substantial capital works project funded by the DfE and in the coming year they will also build a new 8 classroom block for the primary section.   There is onsite parking and good cycle access.
