Fine Arts College is an independent college in Belsize Park, north London with students from Year 9 through to Sixth Form. We are rated ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted and pride ourselves on having a caring, encouraging ethos. At A level we specialise in arts and humanities subjects.

We currently have just over 200 students; the majority are studying A levels and approximately 40 are in Years 9, 10 or 11. These numbers vary from year to year. The students are mixed ability and are taught in small groups of around 10 students.

Applications are invited from experienced teachers with a History degree who are able to teach History from Year 9 to A level. This is a part-time role starting in September 2018. Pay will be according to experience.

Please complete the attached application form and submit by 29th May 2018.

Fine Arts College is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment. All successful applicants will be subject to an enhanced DBS check. Detailed references will be sought.

The College, founded in 1978 by Candida Cave and Nicholas Cochrane, is situated in a delightful part of Belsize Park, the main site being situated in a quiet secluded courtyard away from the bustle of central London.

We believe that students achieve their potential working in small groups in a mature and stimulating atmosphere. In this way each can develop as an individual as well as achieving the all important high grades for entry into university, drama school or art school.

Students at Fine Arts College develop the academic skills and confidence to excel in their personal lives and careers.

In all our courses we provide students with the opportunity of enjoying their studies while achieving the best results: the perfect bridge between school and university.

“Fine Arts College….provides consistently good teaching by experts in their fields using an outstanding curriculum….”
