Smart Teachers invites overseas trained History Teachers / History newly graduates to join a vibrant secondary school community in London Borough of Lewisham from September 2019.  The appointed History Teacher will be able to inspire and motivate pupils at the secondary school. This is a full-time permanent History position and would suit both a newly qualified teacher or experienced teacher. This is a fantastic opportunity for a History Teacher who is looking to join a school with a warm and friendly team.

In order to be considered for this role, the History Teacher / History newly graduate will need to meet the following criteria:

• Have experience working as a History teacher or equivalent 

• Hold a Post graduate certificate of education/B Ed or equivalent History teaching qualification 

• Eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa), sponsorship license held for exceptional candidates

• Recent classroom-based references and valid DBS/police checks

• OS teachers and Newly qualified teachers are welcome to apply
