Queen’s Gate is a thriving GSA day school for girls aged 4 –18 and is ideally situated in Central London to take advantage of the many educational opportunities on offer.  

We wish to appoint from 1st September 2018, a suitably qualified History graduate to join our very successful and lively History department and to teach the subject at all levels up to and including A Level.  Passion for the subject, enthusiasm, knowledge of A Level requirements and beyond and a willingness to become involved in the pastoral and extra-curricular life of the School, are all essential requirements.

About Queen's Gate School

Queen's Gate School is an all-through independent day school for girls aged 4-18, housed in five Victorian buildings in South Kensington, London. There are around 500 pupils on roll, with a wide range of ethnic and cultural backgrounds, reflecting the diversity of the city.

Queen's Gate School was founded in 1891 by Miss Eleanor Beatrice Wyatt in her parents' home. The present site was acquired in 2005. The school is an educational trust overseen by a board of governors.
