HLTA for EAL (English as an Additional Language)

32.5hrs per week, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday, Term Time Only

We are looking to appoint a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant to support our pupils with English as an Additional Language in the two primary schools across our Trust. The role will involve supporting pupils in lessons, working with small groups of pupils outside of lessons, supporting their learning and behaviour. The successful candidate will also work alongside our staff to support pupils’ learning within the classroom.

Applicants must have an EAL or TEFL qualification and possess C grade / Level 5 in GCSE English and Maths or equivalent. The positions would be well suited to graduates who wish to gain school experience before going on to do teacher training or those who have experience working with young people.
