35 hours per week, term time, 39 weeks per annum
Grade JE4, £19,850 – £22,324 per annum
We are seeking to employ an HLTA (Nurture and Therapeutic Interventions) to complement the work of the SENCO and teachers by taking responsibility for planning, preparing and delivering agreed teaching and learning activities during a period of maternity leave. You will also monitor pupils’ achievements, progress and development in addition to undertaking the management of other teaching assistants to substantially contribute and support the behavioural, emotional and educational needs of pupils at the academy.
You will require Higher Level Teaching Assistant status or an equivalent qualification, as well as proven experience in behaviour management/support of disaffected and SEND students and evidence of administrative experience in a faculty or department, where you will demonstrate effective use of ICT to support learning.
