Education Scotland is Scotland's national improvement agency for education. Our role is to promote improvement through innovation and change, from the early years to adult learning and to provide support and challenge to the education system. We are committed to embedding our values of excellence, creativity, integrity and respect in everything we do.
To help us drive our ambitious agenda for improving outcomes for Scottish learners, we are looking for some dynamic and highly skilled individuals to fill some key roles in our organisation.
We are looking to recruit HM Inspectors of Education (HMI) to undertake inspections or reviews alongside other strategic development work and scrutiny activity. In your capacity as HMI, you will bring about improvement in standards and quality through evaluative activities, dissemination of good practice and building capacity in the system for improvement.
You will have the ability to operate with impartiality, fairness and diplomacy. Experience of involvement in sector developments at local authority or national level and/or leading and contributing to multi-agency work would also be advantageous.
We welcome applications from all sectors. We are especially interested in expertise in the following areas:
- Early Learning and Childcare
