For 1 September 2018
The Godolphin and Latymer School is one of the country’s leading Independent Day Schools for Girls, located on a six acre site in Hammersmith. Our facilities are excellent and the girls are bright, talented and energetic. Both curricular Physical Education and extra-curricular sports are highly popular, taught by experienced teachers and specialist coaches. The girls are outstanding achievers, regularly competing at regional and national level.
We offer a wide variety of sports to the girls, with Hockey and Netball being our largest sports. Over recent years, these sports have gone from strength to strength and we therefore seek to employ an inspirational Hockey Coach to join our busy and thriving department.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Director of Sport and the Head of Hockey to further support and expand the Hockey provision. This will involve attending squad training sessions, core PE lessons, weekday evening fixtures and, ideally, sports tours and / or masterclasses as appropriate, which could take place during school holidays.
During the summer term, the post-holder will be required to coach one of our three major summer sports, which are Tennis, Athletics and Cricket.
The hours of work (32 per week during term time) will be discussed at interview stage and agreed on appointment. The salary will be commensurate with the post and will depend on qualifications and experience.
