River View Primary and Nursery School

Home School Link Worker (Full Time)

Grade 6 (£19,238 - £21,745)  Required from January 2018

Do you have a background of Social Work, supporting families, working with children and a good knowledge of the Stapenhill area?  This could be the ideal role for you!

You will be responsible for providing direct task-centred and evidence based interventions, and delivering effective programmes of work with children, young people, and their families/carers. The core focus of this vital school role is pastoral support and external liaison to ensure that all children and families, aligned to their individual needs, achieve the best possible outcomes.

Come and join our highly skilled and friendly staff team:  working across the school, and supporting our children’s learning, emotional, social and mental health needs.  The role will involve working with both groups and individual students under the direction of the Inclusion Manager/class teachers and other appropriate staff and will involve the delivery of various interventions.

This really is a great place to work and learn and the post would be ideal for you if you are a skilled practitioner, forward looking, energetic and focused on achieving excellence for the children you support.

Our expectations are high because we believe that our children deserve the very best we can offer.

In return, you will have the opportunity to work with enthusiastic and motivated children and colleagues who want to be the best they can be. As a Requires Improvement School you will be part of our journey to get to Good.

If you would like any further information, or would like to discuss this role with the Assistant Head for Inclusion please telephone 01283 260157.

Closing Date: 12 noon Monday 20th November 2017

Interviews are expected to be held during Friday 24th   November, for your advance planning.

We encourage all applicants to apply using our online form, however if you would prefer to receive an application pack, please email swilkinson@riverview.staffs.sch.uk

River View Primary and Nursery School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all its pupils.
