Homeroom Teacher (Kindergarten)

Duties:

Develop and teach highly engaging, play-based curriculum that guides rich, meaningful learning

Collaborate intensively and daily with colleagues to design learning outcomes, monitor growth, and thoughtfully address individual student needs

Deeply connect with students, colleagues and parents to uphold a warm and welcoming culture, promoting, diversity, safety and respect.

Invoke a robust learning atmosphere, to create value for our students and a sense of being part of a rigorous and joyful learning community

Inspire trust and confidence among parents and families 

Help with student enrollment and marketing activities when needed

Participate actively in ongoing, intensive professional learning

Job Requirement:

Minimum 3 years of teaching experience with children ages 3-6  or 1.5-3

Experience with Reggio approach,IB PYP Inquiry-based learning & Project Based Learning, Responsive Classroom, immersive language learning and co-teaching preferred

Profound commitment to ensuring and nurturing children's wellbeing

Highly effective collaborator, eager to listen deeply, contribute to the team and achieve goals together

Dedication to learning and developing the craft of teaching

Very resourceful and adaptive, eager to embrace constant change, growth and learning

Bachelor’s degree; graduate degree in early childhood education or related field preferred

Native-level proficiency in English
