The Equine Department at South Staffordshire College requires a part time Horse Management Teacher.
We are looking for a keen, energetic, and enthusiastic Teacher to join our Equine department and to have an active role in the development and growth of our HE provision. The successful candidate will prepare and deliver classes and assessment activity to learners across a range of full and part time programmes from Entry Level through to HE.
Experience within the Equine industry is essential. Familiarity with requirements of awarding bodies in the education sector would be an advantage.
The ideal candidate will hold or be working towards a professional teaching qualification and have delivery experience and a genuine interest in delivering practical and theoretical sessions as well as providing support and inspiration to our learners.
Applicants should have a degree level qualification or better in a horse management related subject. Experience with internal verification and the delivery of Maths and/or English, would also be an advantage.
