The School of Sport and Public Services are looking for knowledgeable team-players to join them. The right candidates will join a vibrant working environment with excellent facilities.
We are looking for Hourly Paid Learning Assistants to provide day-to-day practical support for teaching and learning within the forensic science courses.
The role includes assisting the teaching team in the delivery of their programmes, supervising and maintaining practical work areas to ensure a high quality student learning experience, and maintaining and sourcing equipment.
This role would be ideal for someone looking to use their excellent practical and theoretical knowledge in an educational environment.
You will need up to date technical know-how and knowledge of Health and Safety at Work regulations.
It is desirable that the successful applicant has experience of supporting and/or delivering Biology, Chemistry and Physics to an A level or Level 3 standard and experience of working in a lab.
The closing date for applications is Friday 2 September 2016.
Interviews are due to take place on Friday 9 September 2016.
The successful candidate will join the Sport, Public Services and Science team, reporting to Head of School, Julier Kirby.
