Hourly Paid Maths Lecturer – Tamworth Post No: PD0716T
Hourly rate up to £23.72 per hour (to include preparation and marking)
We are seeking to recruit a part-time hourly paid Lecturer of Maths to teach weekly Functional Skills classes in and around the Tamworth area, delivering to Apprentices on a one-to-one or small group basis.
Delivery will take place in the workplace and not at the Solihull College campuses.
Other opportunities may be available to deliver Maths to Apprentices at other locations in addition to this role, and through blended learning.
Prior experience of teaching Functional Skills or GCSE maths is preferable, but more than that, we seek individuals with the ability to engage students, make learning accessible and enjoyable, and go the extra mile to enable a diverse range of students to achieve.
You will need to hold or be prepared to work towards a relevant teaching qualification.
