House Mistress

From September 2023, we are seeking a residential Boarding House Mistress. As a new school we are looking for an energetic and innovative pastoral lead who wants to help build a community here in Madrid.

Working with IE University our mission is to provide students with an outstanding preparation to navigate a world in constant change. Our blended IBDP College embeds in the curriculum the entrepreneurial, cultural, communication and technological know-how to ensure that our students leave with an education unlike any other.

Are you entrepreneurial, innovative, and ambitious for your students? If so we want a House Parent to lead the students in our boarding house, while also contributing to the whole College. The Boarding Housemistress’ main duty is to provide an outstanding boarding experience for boarding students. This includes ensuring boarders are safe and that their welfare and wellbeing is the first priority. The houseparent is also responsible for promoting and creating a strong residence ethos and identity for all members of the house, including parents and staff.

The Global College offers outstanding two-year pre-university education in Spain, anchored in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme and in the history and values of IE University.

IB Diploma

The Global College is to offer the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme in English. It entails a challenging, two-year multidisciplinary curriculum for students aged 15-18, which focuses on critical thinking and research skills, while also providing access to leading international universities.
