East Town is a Boys Day House in the Upper School. Founded in 1957, East Town prides itself on its warm, inviting and sociable atmosphere. 

We require a Housemaster/Housemistress to lead this busy day house from September 2020 and to manage the staffing, organisation and resources of the house in order to ensure the safety, wellbeing and personal development of the boys. A clear understanding of the pastoral needs of boys is essential, as is an awareness of the demands of working in a boarding and day school where flexibility, resilience and commitment are required.

Clifton College is a large independent day and boarding school in Bristol with over 1300 pupils aged 2 to 18, two large commercial sports facilities, a commercial theatre and over 600 staff.

Clifton College Upper School is housed in historical buildings, such as the Grade II-listed Percival Library, but it boasts state-of-the-art sporting facilities, including 24 tennis courts and an Olympic-standard hockey pitch.
