St Joseph's College is a vibrant independent day and boarding school in Ipswich providing a broad and seamless education for over 600 boys and girls aged 3 - 18. An exciting opportunity has arisen to appoint an inspirational Housemaster or Housemistress to lead a Boarding house at St. Joseph’s College in Ipswich commencing in the new academic year.
At St Joseph’s, we are very proud of our ethos, which combines strong Christian values with a distinctive approach to supporting and nurturing each child as an individual within a friendly, family setting. House staff truly know and understand the individual needs of each student, as highlighted in our most recent ISI report. The two houses, Goldrood (boys year 7 – 13) and Mews (girls year 7-13 and boys year 12 – 13) are home to approximately 50 students in each house. The Housemaster or Housemistress will be residential and have responsibility for the personal development, health and wellbeing of the students in their house. Each house comprises of a Housemaster or Housemistress, an Assistant Housemaster or Housemistress, a Graduate Assistant and a non-residential matron.
