Queen Victoria School is a co-educational Boarding School funded by the Ministry of Defence.
An opportunity exists for an experienced, caring, resident Housematron (full time residential) who will be required to work in one of our Boys’ Boarding Houses, looking after the welfare of children between the ages of 11 and 18 years.
Applicants should be registered, or willing to register with SSSC and obtain SVQ 3 Social Services (Children and Young People) at SCQF level 7 within the timescale specified by SSSC.
A requirement of the post will be PVG registration.
The salary scale for the Housematron is £18,708 to £19,914 p.a. This post also attracts a QVS Recruitment and Retention Allowance of £3000* p.a. Accommodation is provided in the Boarding House at a nominal charge.
