Houseparent

An exciting opportunity to work in the oldest children's democracy in the world.

The "Shack" Houseparent is responsible for the well-being of a group of students (male and female) aged approximately between 13 and 15 years.

In addition, to house-parenting duties, the successful applicant would be expected to make a significant contribution to school life in area best suited to his/her skill set.   This might, for example, include working a few hours a week as a teaching assistant or, if suitably qualified, teaching a particular subject (e.g. French or Economics).   Alternatively, the successful applicant may be in a position to take on various administrative tasks and/or be involved in a variety of activities.

This combined position is full-time and live-in.   Single accommodation only.

Ability to work in the UK is essential.
