At Cheltenham Ladies’ College, we aim to provide a strong support network for every one of our pupils. Around 670 girls board with us in one of our 11 sixth form and junior Boarding Houses and your role will be at the heart of this pastoral care as you join one of our dedicated professional teams working under an individual Housemistress.
In addition to looking after our girls’ wellbeing, you’ll help with the day-to-day running of the house and more. There is a range of work patterns available, with allocated time off. As part of a close-knit community in the centre of Cheltenham, you will also have easy access to all of the facilities that this thriving town has to offer.
College itself combines a rich heritage with an exciting future. Approximately 850 pupils from 40 countries across the world benefit from the knowledge and expertise gained over the last 160 years. Driven by innovation and challenge, we prepare our girls to achieve their full potential in a complex and changing world.
To be considered for the role of Housestaff you will possess a positive interest in working in a care environment, good administrative skills and be an effective communicator. The ability to work as part of a team is a must as are excellent organisation skills. Previous experience of working within a school or care setting is desirable but not essential.
