The St Ralph Sherwin Catholic Multi Academy Trust have an exciting opportunity for a HR Administrator to join our centralised HR Team, based in St Mary’s Wharf, Derby.

Reporting to the HR Manager, the role is offered on a full time, all year-round basis.

 

The St Ralph Sherwin Catholic Multi Academy Trust (CMAT) HR team provides a professional, centralised HR and Payroll service to a family of 25 schools comprising of 20 primary and 5 secondaries across Derbyshire, Staffordshire and Stockport.

 

This is a new additional role and is an exciting opportunity to play a vital part of the team. As HR Administrator you will support the HR Manager to make a positive contribution to the overall development of the trust and workforce changes that will deliver an outstanding education for all our children and young people.

 

You will be involved in all aspects of HR, providing an initial response to the HR helpline service to all academies within the Trust, escalating to HR team members as appropriate. You will be responsible for collating and inputting monthly HR data and producing reports as and when required relating to absence, fixed term contracts, starters/leavers, proposed changes, maternity leave. Alongside the HR team, you will ensure that the monthly HR/Payroll process works smoothly, timely and accurately.

 

You will have experience within an office environment, primarily in a HR / Payroll and/or finance role. Ideally, you will also have experience within HR or payroll within an educational setting, but this is not necessarily essential.

 

You will need to be highly organised, with the ability to multitask and maintain strong attention to detail. You will have strong communication skills with the ability to demonstrate a sensitive approach to confidential matters. You must have excellent IT skills, especially Microsoft Office Word and Excel.


 


Whilst being a Catholic is not a requirement, you must be willing to support the Catholic life and ethos in our academies.
