A new opportunity is now available for an HR Advisor to join the Trust’s HR team. This is a busy and varied role focusing primarily on staff recruitment and related pre-employment administration, and payroll support. The new post-holder will also be involved in other HR activities including employee relations, absence management and responding to HR queries from staff. As our HR service continues to grow in line with the growth of our schools we anticipate that the new post-holder will take on more responsibility for leading HR for one or two schools. The right candidate will be able to grow and develop their responsibilities and experience as the Trust grows, and will be supported to gain a CIPD HR qualification if they do not already have this.

The new post-holder will be join a team of three people (the HR Manager and two part-time HR Assistants).

The successful candidate will be:

Approachable, calm and professional. S/he will be highly organised and able to understand and convey detailed information. Previous HR experience is desirable but not essential, however the ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate successful work experience in a fast-paced office environment, and the ability to own their own work and take responsibility for specific job areas. The new post-holder must be resilient and adaptable, and will demonstrate the potential to take on a management role. S/he will not only be able to provide a good service but also able to contribute to the development of working processes as the Trust grows.

Some flexibility with regard to working hours is also essential.

The role is primarily based within the Twyford Trust Operations team at Twyford CE High School though there will be a requirement to work at other Trust schools.

About Twyford Church of England Academies Trust (TCEAT)

The Twyford Church of England Academies Trust (TCEAT) is a compact CoE MAT which comprises four schools in the London Borough of Ealing. The Trust was established in October 2011 to enable an existing School, Twyford CE High School, to build on its successes and look outward to the large number of parents who were eager to become part of its community. Over a 10 year period it launched three new schools Ealing Fields, William Perkin and Ada Lovelace all of which have achieved progress outcomes ranking them in the top 1% of schools nationally, making TCEAT the highest attaining Trust in the UK. TCEAT aims to deliver outstanding education in a comprehensive school setting and embraces the Twyford School motto ‘Life in all its fullness’, encouraging students to use their individual gifts wisely and well. Supported by the London Diocesan Board for Schools (LDBS), the TCEAT operates on collaborative principles with some central services to achieve consistency of provision. The Trust has a highly evolved common curriculum from Yr 7 –Yr 13 which has been devised by staff within the four schools and we have a thriving 6th form co-ordinated across 3 of the school sites. The Trust is also the hub of Teach West London and prides itself on high quality, peer-led CPD within a dynamic culture of self-improvement.
