We have an exciting opportunity for an inspiring and well-qualified HR and Compliance Manager to work across the Leicester Grammar School Trust. The HR and Compliance Manager will be responsible for HR functions across the three schools and will also manage compliance with Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI) regulatory policy. The role will involve working full time, all year round.

The successful candidate will manage the on-site HR function on a day to day basis, including recruitment and retention, employee relations, developing HR practices and policy and providing advice to line managers. The role will include liaison with the Senior Leadership Team and Executive across the Trust. Compliance aspects of the role encompass pay and remuneration, as well as more general risk and compliance responsibilities. A key priority for this role will be to manage the Single Central Register for the LGS Trust, to ensure compliance in line with ISI Regulations. 

Reporting to the Director of Finance and Operations, this is a new role for the Trust and a real opportunity for the successful candidate to head up our HR function. There are around 350 people working within the LGS Trust, including around 270 employees (170 teaching staff and 100 support staff) as well as contractors, volunteers and trustees.
