HR and Recruitment Advisor

Permanent / Full Time / All Year Round

Advisor reports to the Director of HR and is often the first point of contact for all employees and managers in respect of operational support regarding HR processes and scenarios. This role plays a key role in promoting a highly professional HR approach to employer/employee relations across the School and ensuring Truro School is recognised internally and externally as a great place to work. The HR and Recruitment Advisor also takes the lead regarding the recruitment and selection of all staff across the School (Prep and Senior), both teaching and non-teaching staff.

Our desired candidate will be CIPD level 3 or above qualified or have the equivalent experience. They will have good knowledge of employment legislation and practical experience of its application and experience of recruitment processes across all levels of an organisation. They will be a highly effective communicator, emotionally intelligent and be able to provide first class customer service whilst maintaining meticulous attention to detail. 

This role is a permanent position working full-time, 37.5 hours per week, all year round (ie: not term time only).
