We are seeking a skilled, pro-active and committed individual to provide high level support to the College’s HR and recruitment processes and services. In this new role within College your work will be very varied and you will be pro-actively involved in co-ordinating and administering all of the College’s key HR processes – including staff selection, induction, probation, performance management, training and support arrangements.
The post-holder will report to and be supported by the Human Resources Manager, Miles McGennity. Although your role is primarily an administrative one it holds a high level of responsibility and it is important that you have a pro-active approach and the ability to establish or improve processes to provide the most effective and efficient service. You will be responsible for managing your own workload in this busy working environment, so excellent prioritisation and planning skills combined with a flexible approach are key in ensuring all demands are appropriately balanced.
The ability to communicate well with a wide variety of people is important. You will have the skills to be sensitive and supportive of individuals whilst fully appreciating the operational and strategic needs of the College and the responsibility we have to our students. You must be confident and accurate in working with computerised systems and you will need to have good-all round skills in the use of the Microsoft Office suite of software. Strong written and presentation skills combined with an eye for detail are particularly important in relation to the responsibility for preparing recruitment documentation.
Closing Date: Midnight, Tuesday 20th March 2018.
Interviews are provisionally arranged for Wednesday 28th March 2018.
