Location: Devon (Home based role)

Hours/Contract: Full-time, permanent position: 37.5 hours per week (The Trust welcomes applications from those wishing to work flexibly such as part-time, job-share, term time working, compressed hours.   Please indicate this on your application form).

Salary Grade: Grade I (£38,890 per annum, pro rata, rising to a maximum of £43,857 per annum, pro rata.  New starters will commence on the bottom of the salary range)

The Role:  This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR and OD Professional to join a developing Multi Academy Trust (MAT) and to work closely with the wider Senior Leadership Team and the Academies within the Trust. The postholder will be expected to contribute at both the strategic and operational level.

Your main focus will be on the following areas:

• Leadership development

• Succession planning

• Talent management (attracts, onboards, develops and retains great people)

• Employee engagement

• Health and wellbeing

• Helping people to develop through the organisation

The Person: This is a unique opportunity for a self-motivated and highly organised HR professional looking to be instrumental in the development of the HR and OD provision and be part of a fast-growing and dynamic Multi-Academy Trust in the South West.

We are looking for a genuinely passionate individual that has not yet hit their peak. You will be someone that is on a definite upward trajectory in your career with huge desire to develop. We are looking for someone who has the right aptitude and approach that will ensure you pick things up quickly.

You will be someone who is motivated, innovative and challenging and can substantiate past achievements.

You may be an experienced HR & talent professional or an experienced HR generalist looking for your next opportunity to develop further. You will be a Chartered Member of the CIPD.  Experience in the public sector is desirable but not essential.
