St Joseph’s is a successful oversubscribed Catholic college in Swindon. Our aim is to reflect the Christian values proclaimed in the Gospel by providing a caring community in which young people can grow as balanced individuals, morally, intellectually and spiritually. We are looking to appoint enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to act as an HR Apprentice within our College. You will be working towards a work based qualification which is nationally recognised, with the help and support of the College and our learning provider. This is a great opportunity to gain invaluable experience and life skills, which will give you a structured route into the industry.
The role involves:
- To assist with the recruitment process
- To assist in collecting the required documents and ensuring correct checks are in place for new starters
- To assist in maintaining HR records
- To assist in monitoring the absence of staff
- Producing documents using a variety of software
- To assist in ensuring that employees are paid correctly
- General administrative duties including answering the telephone, email queries, photocopying, filing and scanning
