Mayfield is seeking to appoint a well-qualified and experienced Human Resources Manager to take responsibility for all aspects of HR within the School. This is a full-time position working closely with the Bursar and Headmistress to provide wide and varied HR advice and support. 

Ideally, the successful candidate will be CIPD qualified with proven experience in a broad range of HR disciplines. Current knowledge of employment law and compliance is essential and familiarity with producing a variety of contracts highly desirable.  Appreciation of the ethos of the School and experience of working in an educational environment would be an advantage. 

Mayfield is a Catholic independent boarding and day School for 375 girls aged 11-18 years, set in 75 acres of beautiful Sussex countryside, less than 50 miles from London, 40 minutes from Gatwick and 15 minutes from the charming historic town of Tunbridge Wells.  Our latest ISI inspection report states that the quality of education at Mayfield is "outstanding" and was described by Country Life magazine as "one of the finest schools in the land."
