Applications are invited for the post of HR Manager at The Royal Masonic School for Girls. Reporting to the Head of HR / Bursar, the successful candidate will be responsible for line managing HR administration and overseeing all aspects of HR process and practice, providing a responsive, professional service to staff.

RMS is a leading independent girls’ day/boarding School with 940+ pupils aged 2 to 18 and over 240 teaching and support staff, situated on a 200-acre parkland site near Rickmansworth in Hertfordshire. The School provides an exceptionally favourable working environment, with engaged students and stunning surroundings.

As a member of the leadership team you will responsible for supporting the School’s needs and ensuring the proper implementation of School objectives and strategy as well as the development, implementation, application, maintenance and monitoring of robust HR processes and policies throughout the School. This is an exciting role in which you will have the opportunity to build great relationships and work closely with professionals across the whole School community. The Royal Masonic School for Girls is an independent school located on a 316-acre site in Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire. Providing places to both boarding and day pupils, the school is an all-through institution educating pupils aged 2-18. 

Founded in 1789, the school was originally intended for use by the children of Freemasons. It is now non-denominational and has no restrictions on attendance. As an academically selective institution, the school require potential applicants to undergo formal or informal assessment before a place is offered.
