St Rita's College Ltd, in the Brisbane suburb of Clayfield, is a leading Catholic secondary school for girls.

Applications are invited for this integral role in leading and managing the extensive teaching and non-teaching Human Resource operations at the College. The position provides the operational support for the functions of recruitment, professional review, performance management, employment compliance and industrial relations.

The ideal candidate will be a recruitment, performance management and organisational development generalist for the employment lifecycle and ideally hold at least 5 years' experience in an similar role,

The position is a full time, 5 day per week role with an immediate start. Experience in a school environment may be advantageous.

Key duties and skills include:

• Being fully supportive of the objectives and ethos of Catholic education;

• Hold relevant tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent experience;

• Hold Membership of a relevant HR professional body;

• Hold outstanding knowledge, skills and experience in a human resources role;

• Hold outstanding administration, organisational and time management skills;

• Hold outstanding interpersonal and communication skills;

• Be a solutions-orientated person;

The successful applicant, before commencement in the position, will be required to hold or have in application a Positive Paid Work Notice from the Queensland Working with Children Check.

St Rita’s College is a Catholic all-girls, secondary, independent day school that offers education for students aged between 12-18. The non-selective school, located in Clayfield, Queensland, currently has 1,028 pupils on roll.

St Rita’s College has been in its initial location since its founding in 1926 and originally offered day education and boarding facilities to both boys and girls. It has since evolved into an all-girls school that focuses on nurturing young women into becoming independent leaders.

St Rita’s College is equipped with the latest learning facilities and technologies to ensure that every pupil receives the best education. These amenities include the modernistic Nano Nagle Centre, home to the Sr Elvera Science Centre and college library. 

The college also offers extensive sporting facilities including the Acqua Rosa Centre which features a 25-metre heated pool, three multifunctional hard courts, a covered court, and a multipurpose gymnasium.
