40 weeks per year (term time plus 2 additional weeks)

This role is for 37 hours per week – Monday to Friday (Monday to Thursday 8am to 4pm, Friday 8am to 3.30pm) although the school may consider part-time (30 hours) per week.

It is an exciting time to join North Cambridge Academy. Our school is increasing in student numbers and we are growing our support team. 

Working as part of a dedicated support team at the school, you will be responsible for all human resources duties within the school environment. This will include the oversight of safeguarding for appointing new staff and recruitment. Responsibility for the employee life cycle at school level which includes probation, sickness absence, pay and providing support to manage low-level HR queries and processes.

We are looking for an organised administrator, preferably with an understanding of HR processes, recruitment and best practices (support and training will be provided). You will possess a high standard of written and oral communication skills and be IT literate. The ability to work unsupervised and prioritise tasks in a high paced environment is important, as well as being able to handle information and employee matters professionally and expediently. Experience of working in the education sector is not essential.
