Contract: Permanent, part-time (4 days a week, days can be agreed with the candidate)

Working hours: 08:00am to 17:00pm

Salary: Grade 8 (£24,481-£29,261)

The role: 

We seek a motivated and enthusiastic HR Officer to join our vibrant community at Ark Evelyn Grace Academy.

As an integral member of our Operations team, you will lead on day to day HR service provision within our academy. You will undertake duties across a range of activities including recruitment and selection, data management, processing pension and payroll, processing DBS checks, reporting, compliance and general HR administration.  

Our ideal candidate will: 

·         Have experience working in HR at Coordinator/Administrator level

·         Have experience using HR databases

·         Have excellent administrative and organisational skills

·         Have excellent written and oral communication skills

·         Be able to prioritise workload and hit deadlines

Ark Evelyn Grace Academy is an 11-16 mixed secondary school, located at the heart of the London Borough of Lambeth. We are a community school and part of the Ark Network.  Our mission statement is to empower our students to be the voice of their future.  This is based on the belief that each young person is different, difference should be embraced, and each young person has a unique contribution to make and should be given a voice. School Structure

The school has a small leadership team that comprises of the Principal, two Vice Principals and two Assistant Principals. Each subject area is lead by a Head of Department and year groups are led by a Director of Learning (Head of Year).
