Maternity Cover (12 months)
We’re looking for a highly organised and professional HR Officer to join our team for a 12-month maternity cover. Working for multi-academy trust, Bright Tribe, you will be based in Stockport, working alongside the central and regionally based HR team and will be responsible for providing HR administration and project support to the central team and schools within the Trust.
Bright Tribe manages 12 schools across the country (Suffolk, Essex, Cornwall, Cumbria and Greater Manchester) and brings together the best from the field of education and the commercial world to create a professional environment focused on educational performance, on results and on enhancing the potential of the local communities in which we operate.
A HR generalist role that will work on Trust HR projects including HR systems improvements (new pay roll and HR systems), monitoring and reporting on employee relations issues and recruitment tracking, establishing and improving HR processes for the Trusts new in-house estate team as well as school HR administration support.
This will involve assisting school administrators with HR correspondence, recruitment, administration audits and compliance, Single Central Records, administration training and absence management.
This role requires excellent attention to detail, organisational and IT skills. You must have a proactive approach to work and a ‘can-do’ attitude.
The successful candidate will have at least 3 years previous experience within HR. Education sector experience desirable but not essential.

Salary: £22,000 to £26,000 depending on experience
Hours of Work: 9:00am-5.30pm (1 Hour for Lunch) – flexibility can be considered
Contract: Full time – 12-month Fixed term
