About the role
The successful candidate will provide an efficient and professional generalist HR service to all stakeholders within the school.
The appointment is to cover the maternity leave of the substantive post holder and is expected to last up to December 2020.
The role requires an extremely motivated and enthusiastic individual with the highest professional standards and the ability to form relationships with a range of staff and visitors. You will be able to show resilience and handle a diverse and complex workload whilst maintaining a positive approach. The post offers challenge, reward and role development to support career progression.
You will need excellent organisational, communication and IT skills, and will be solution focused and emotionally intelligent. You will be a strong communicator with a proven ability to build highly effective internal and external business relationships at all levels. To meet the challenge you will be an experienced and highly credible HR professional with a track record of managing and delivering a generalist HR service. You will have an up to date knowledge of employment law and have used this knowledge in a wide variety of HR situations. Your experience will be underpinned by a formal HR qualification and you may have experience in the education sector, although this is not essential.
The role is to cover 15 hours per week and the school is open to the possibility of exploring a working pattern which meets both individual needs and those of the school. Interested applicants are encouraged to discuss this at selection stage so that suitable options can be explored.
