Senior School HSIE Teacher

Full time ongoing role to commence Term 1 2022

Applicants for this role will ideally be an inspiring energetic and enthusiastic HSIE specialist with previous experience teaching or who are keen to teach Stages, 4 & 5 HSIE (History & Geography) delivering the NESA Curriculum in a secondary school environment. Experience in teaching Stage 6 Ancient History, Modern History, Legal Studies, Studies of Religion or Extension History would be highly regarded.

Applicants for this role will ideally have:

  • Qualifications in subject area and Teaching and or Education that allow registration as a Teacher in NSW. 
  • Fulfill requirements as mandated by NESA.
  • Current NSW Working With Children Check Clearance. 
  • Use technology in the classroom.
  • An understanding of All HSIE NESA Courses Stages, 4, 5 & 6.
  • Experience in teaching Stage 6 Ancient History, Modern History, Legal Studies, Studies of Religion or Extension History would be highly regarded.

The Role:

The Senior School HSIE Teacher is an ongoing position, following a successful probation period of 6 months, with a full-time teaching load.
