The post is offered on a Vision Business Support Services contract. Individuals with the appropriate experience, qualifications and personal qualities are invited to complete an online application form.

The successful candidate will be part of a team that supports the college maintain a highly skilled, committed and motivated workforce. The People Development team is part of the Human Resources department and is responsible for the framework of training and development across the college. The team are committed to providing opportunities for professional and personal development to all staff and retaining our Investors in People Gold status.

We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and dynamic individual to our intern placement. This is an ideal opportunity to gain experience in a busy HR department, working with employees at all levels of seniority. The ideal candidate will be required to complete projects for the team with a main focus of recruitment. You will be provided with a range of training and development opportunities throughout the internship including shadowing every job holder in the team. You will be given a thorough programme of induction and feedback along the way, to both inspire you and support your future employability.

About Vision West Nottinghamshire College

Vision West Nottinghamshire College is a mixed, non-denominational further education college in Nottinghamshire serving students from the age of 16 and above. The college has approximately 1,200  full and part-time students attending every year. The college has six sites based in Ashfield and Mansfield. 

Vision West Nottinghamshire College was established as a Technical College in 1928. It was renamed Vision West Nottinghamshire College in 2011. Facilities across the campuses include an engineering innovation centre, art and design centre, sports hall, a hair and beauty training salon and a training restaurant for catering and hospitality students to train in.
