Predominantly term time – 22.5 hours per week

£19,375-£20,450 actual salary

Clifton High School is an academically selective, co-educational, independent day school for approximately 630 pupils aged 3-18 years. Situated on a beautiful Bristol site, our educational offering is underpinned by a strong pastoral and family ethos. Due to recent expansion, this is an exciting and newly created position working with Senior Leaders across the school, including the Head of School and Governors.

Our People are our most important asset and you’ll be the one to ensure we have a happy and productive workplace where everyone works together to help the School achieve and to shape our positive culture across the organisation. To us, an HR Manager is the go-to person for all employee-related issues, for our staff as well as management. This will involve managing activities such as job design, employee relations, performance management, training & development and talent management.

We are looking for someone who loves rolling their sleeves up, is ambitious and is an experienced Human Resources Manager to head up and develop our people function. It’s a role that calls for strong strategic awareness and excellent interpersonal skills.

The successful candidate will take a lead role in delivering content relating to employment law, regulatory compliance and people management. We’re looking for a candidate who possesses at least three years of proven HR experience and the ability to work across a wide range of teams and departments. You will hold a CIPD or similar level qualification.
