Job overview

Are you a qualified Teacher of Humanities and PSHE with recent secondary mainstream experience who can enthuse and motivate students to achieve their full potential at Key Stage 3 and 4 including GCSE?

Are you resilient, with a positive ethos and calm and proactive approach?

Would you like to deliver humanities and PSHE in a new, bespoke, purpose built building with state of the art facilities?

If so, join our dynamic, creative and supportive staff team in this successful and well established secondary PRU, which provides full-time provision for students unable to access mainstream school for a variety of reasons including challenging behaviour, emotional, social and medical needs.

“The quality of teaching, learning and assessment is good. Typically, learning engages pupils and helps them to achieve.”  (Ofsted 2017)

The candidate should demonstrate a commitment to learning and working with a strong staff team and other Barnet service providers to enable students to recognise and meet high academic, behavioural and social standards.

The post is subject to an enhanced DBS check.
