Part-time Humanities (History and/or Spanish) teacher at Red Balloon - NW London

Red Balloon - NW London, which provides a blended academic and therapeutic education to severely bullied self-excluding children, seeks a part-time KS3/4 Humanities (History and/or Spanish) teacher.

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Humanities on a small group basis, designing and implementing a learning programme for each student, establishing coherent academic plans, recording achievement and liaising with other teachers to plan and organise teaching. Providing evidence of student progress is an important element of the role. 

Red Balloon NW-London is situated at 13 Kenton Road, Harrow, Middlesex HA1 2BW.

Applicants should be educated to degree level, with a teaching qualification. 

Remuneration will be circa £25,000 p.a (16 hours per week for 38 weeks per year). This will be pro-rata for a part-time teacher.
