Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications.


The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: UK QTS and experience working with students in KS2 / Key Stage Two and KS3 / Key Stage Three. 


Contract Dates: N/A this is a temporary supply role in the first instance, to become permanent for the right Teacher


Vision for Education are actively seeking to appoint a versatile Humanities Teacher, to work within a small faith school based in the Southampton area.


The role


This excellent opportunity would be ideal for an experienced who is looking to carry out long term or day to day supply in a unique setting. Your role will see you teaching small classes across KS2 and 3 teaching your specialist subject on a part time basis. 


The school


This small independent faith school caters for children in Key Stage Two and Key Stage Three. The school embraces the Islamic ethos. They welcome applications from a Teacher with a Islamic faith, another faith or of no faith.


This unique setting, providing a holistic learning experience for each child is a rewarding place to work. The team of staff are extremely friendly and supportive, whilst having a joint goal of giving the students the very best learning experience.  


Requirements


To be considered for the position of Humanities Teacher, you will:


• Hold secondary Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) specialising in Humanities


• Be available for long term positions, carrying out all full teaching duties


• Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of specialist teachers


• Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons
