North London Collegiate School Dubai seeks an IB Diploma Coordinator

This selective, co-educational day school, caters for students aged 3 – 18. The School is located within the prestigious Sobha Hartland Development, close to the Burj Khalifa and ‘Downtown’ area of Dubai and boasts state-of-the-art facilities.

The IB Diploma Programme Coordinator will be responsible for all aspects of the leadership, planning and successful delivery of the Diploma at NLCS Dubai, working collaboratively within the Pedagogical Leadership Team and Heads of Department. This is a challenging, interesting and rewarding role, reporting to the Vice Principal (Curriculum).

The successful candidate will have an international outlook and an appreciation of the richness that a diversity of cultures brings to a school. They will have considerable experience in teaching all secondary age groups, with a passion for their subject. They will be educated to degree level or above and may also have other relevant professional qualifications.

The successful candidate will be an outstanding practitioner who has a proven ability to lead by example and the ability to manage, inspire and motivate others in delivering high quality academic support alongside outstanding pastoral care.

All members of staff are expected to be involved in pastoral care within the School community and to contribute to the extra-curricular life of the School.
