The Position:
We are seeking an enthusiastic professional with qualifications and experience working with students in the Middle School and IB Diploma experience.
Please share any examination results should you already have IB experience.
The ability to support Extended Essay or deliver TOK would be highly advantageous.
In addition to Teaching English, experience coordinating CAS could be considered for the right candidate.
Candidates should be committed to high standards, interested in using innovative approaches to learning, and enthusiastic about promoting international understanding.
A strong commitment to purposeful teaching, positive energy, collaborative planning and open communication is essential.
We expect high standards in teaching and learning with a special awareness to language acquisition and literacy since the majority of students do not have English as their mother tongue.
Applicants must be willing to be active, flexible participants in a hard-working team of teachers. The initial contract will be fixed term for 12 months, after which there may be the possibility of converting the contract into a permanent position of employment.
Essential characteristics:
To hold "Certified Teaching Status" or equivalent qualifications;
To have had a minimum of two years teaching experience with students in Secondary School and post 16;
To be an EU passport holder or already be in possession of a valid visa that enables to work in Italy.

The successful candidate will be expected to begin work at the end of August 2022, before which date a criminal records check will need to be completed as part of our child safeguarding policy.
